There are three main ways of getting around Bangladesh – by train, car and boat. More that half of the entire country can be accessed by an all-weather hard surface road and an estimated 70% of the country's passengers and cargo are transported by road. There have also been recent efforts to expand the current road network by quite a bit, making travel by car a good choice.
