CHUXI MUD-HOUSE COMPLEX

the Chuxi Mud-House Complex located in Fukien China is composed of 5 round houses and tens of rectangular houses among which Ji Qing House was first built in 1419 Ming Dynasty consisting of 72 units and each unit amazingly possesses its own staircase•the entire building was made of fir timber and the whole structure was bound together by wood joints only without a single nail•in 1999 the complex was set as a County Culture Protection Unit and was listed in the book of application for World Heritage•music•The Blooming of Quercus•Xia Yi Ling
