During February 2012 I took a break from panda hunting and decided to join in with some friends on a culture learning to trip to Kolkata, India. The journey was rocky and the trip was an emotional roller coaster but I can't wait to get back there to support those children again. Please look more into the noble work the Salesians are doing in Kolkata and other parts of India for the street children.

Military Training Exercise In Bangladesh - Exercise Shanti Doot 3 [04:36]
Buildings at Bipsot Training area approximately 50 kilometers north of Dhaka Bangladesh. Also B roll of Thai soldiers arriving at Bipsot Training area off loading Equipment, checking in and unpacking in their barracks. Other clips show Military units from around the world in formation and moving on to busses. 11 countries are here for Exercise SHANTI-DOOT-3 a Bangladesh--hosted and US sponsored multinational exercise designed to train defense personnel from Bangladesh US and GPOI partner countries. The goal and objectives of the exercise are to increase the participants interoperability and peace keeping skills prior to deployment to UN missions. It is located in Gowainghat Upazila of Sylhet District and situated at the border between Bangladesh and the Indian state of Meghalaya. It is just below the mountain range. Jaflong is famous for its stone collections and is home of the Khasi tribe. Jaflong is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Sylhet division. It's about 60 km far from Sylhet town and takes two hours drive to reach there. Jaflong is also a scenic spot nearby amidst tea gardens and rate beauty of rolling stones from hills. It is situated besides the river Mari in the lap of Hill Khashia. [Stone Collection from the River, Jaflong - Sylhet] The Mari river is coming from the great Himalayas of India, which bringing million tons of stone boulders with its tide. You can watch the stone collection from the river in Jaflong as well as you can enjoy the boating in the river Mari. Jaflong is totally a hilly area of real natural beauty where hills are greenish with the forests. Lots of wild animal lives in this forest, so you need to be careful to enter in the forest alone.
