My two good college friends are now officially married, as they begin the next stage of their lives together as one. In the lead-up to their official marriage, they have invited people to take part in their pre-wedding ceremony known as 'Gaye Holud' (A ceremony observed in Bangladesh and Indian West Bengal). It is part of an elaborate series of celebrations that constitute the Bengali Wedding. Rezwan graduated from Northwestern University in Qatar, and Samira graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. Guess what? Both campuses are in the same building.
