Rampage of Lalgola (Indo-Bangla Border) Passengers at SDAH-NH Main Line section [04:27]
Date taken: April 19, 2012 Camera used: SONY Camcorder DCR SX45E With temperature soaring to almost 42 degree, only an idiot like me will prefer to sit under the scorching sun for hours to do railfanning instead of sitting in the cosy sofas under the chilling ACs in our college's food court and having gala time with friends. Lalgola, a small town at 225 kms north of Kolkata is situated on the India-Bangladesh border. Though Lalgola does not have any railway connectivity with Bangladesh, but it is a terminal station which hauls more than a dozen of trains everyday. Only Gede and Bongaon (these two locations are also at border) have railway connectivity with Bangladesh, and the Kolkata Chitpur Terminal (KOAA)- Dhaka MAITREE International Express uses the Gede route to cross the border. Due to extreme rush, almost a dozen of passengers, and a couple of Express trains travel between Lalgola (LGL)- Murshidabad (MBB)- Berhampore Court (BPC) and Kolkata everyday. TOPIC: Project India [05:49]
During February 2012 I took a break from panda hunting and decided to join in with some friends on a culture learning to trip to Kolkata, India. The journey was rocky and the trip was an emotional roller coaster but I can't wait to get back there to support those children again. Please look more into the noble work the Salesians are doing in Kolkata and other parts of India for the street children.

Jackfruit opened up in front of customers [00:36]
Jack fruit is a very delicious fruit found all over Bangladesh starting from May to August. Most people in the villages have their own plants, they eat as much as they can, then share with relatives and then sell the rest in local markets.
