mission KUAKATA .wmv [02:45]
background music: Isara by EluveItie edited with picasa 17 young guys visited KUAKATA after a hectic and long term in BUET... Kuakata (Bengali: কুয়াকাটা) is a panoramic sea beach on the southernmost tip of Bangladesh. Located in the Patuakhali district, Kuakata has a wide sandy beach from where one can see both the sunrise and sunset. It is about 320 Kilometres south of Dhaka, the capital, and about 70 Kilometers from the district headquarters. The Kuakata beach is 30 km long and 6 km wide. The name Kuakata originated from the word 'Kua'-the Bengali word for "Well" which was dug on the sea shore by the early Rakhine settlers in quest of collecting drinking water, who landed on Kuakata coast in the eighteenth century after being expelled from Arakan (Myanmar) by the Mughals. Afterwards, it has become a tradition of digging Well in the neighborhoods of Rakhaine tribes for water. Kuakata offers a full view of the sunrise and sunset from the same white sandy beach in the water of the Bay of Bengal.

Panam, the forgotten City [05:05]
Sonargaon was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Bengal, ruled by Isa Khan. Bengal is now divided into Paschimbanga, which is a state in India, and the nation of Bangladesh. Sonargaon was known as 'The City of Panam' and was a focal part of the renowned Deva Dynasty until the 13th century. Mainly middle or upper class people inhabited Sonargaon during that time. After the 13th century Sonargaon was made a secondary capital to the main capital of the Sultanate of Bengal. This lasted until the arrival of the Mughals. I earnestly request the authorities-that-be to protect what remains of early 20th century urban Bengal architecture on this site, actively, and prevent further vandalism.

Sachin Tendulkar 100th Century 16 March 2012 ♥ [V★] [02:43]
After 1 year wait for 100th Century Finally 16 March 2012 is the day he reach 100th International Century and become first cricket to reach this milestone... Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar slammed his 100th ton of his glorious career against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. Sachin opened the innings and cracked 10 boundaries and 1 six in 138 balls on his way to the century. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After 100 Century Sachin Tendulkar: I can't think of too much right now. It has been a tough phase for me. I felt I was batting well in Australia but I was luckless. I was not thinking about the milestone. There was no talk about it when I scored the 99th but the media eventually made it a big thing. Everywhere I went (restaurants, hotels, room service, the ground) the talk was only about the 100th hundred. I decided to do what was best for the team, you know, put your head down and grind it out. I'm glad to have got it now. The ball was not coming on. I talked with Virat and we decided that 270-280 would be a good score. Virat who batted long in the previous game, said that this track is a little slower. The achievement has definitely not sunk in but I've lost about 50 kilos (laughs). Dreams do come true. I waited for 22 years to win the World Cup and so my advise to youngsters would be to chase their dreams.

Bangladesh Dhaka city [13:48]
Dhaka City Dhaka (ঢাকা, formerly spelled Dacca, named Jahangir-nagar during Mughal era) is the capital of Bangladesh. It is a mega city and one of the major cities of South Asia. Located on the banks of the Buriganga River, had a population of over 16 million in 2011. It is the 9th largest city in the world and also 28th among the most densely populated cities in the world. Dhaka is known as the City of Mosques and with 400000 cycle rickshaws running on its streets every day, the city is also described as the Rickshaw Capital of the World. Under Mughal rule in the 17th century, the city was known as Jahangir Nagar. The modern city, however, was developed chiefly under British rule in the 19th century, and became the second-largest city in Bengal. After the Partition of Bengal in 1905, Dhaka became the capital of the new province of Eastern Bengal and Assam but lost its status as a provincial capital again after the partition was annulled in 1911. After the partition of India in 1947, Dhaka became the administrative capital of East Pakistan, and later, in 1971, the capital of an independent Bangladesh. Modern Dhaka is the center of political, cultural and economic life in Bangladesh. Dhaka suffers from urban problems such as pollution and overpopulation. The city is attracting large foreign investments and greater volumes of commerce and trade. It is also experiencing an increasing influx of people from across the nation, this has reportedly made Dhaka the fastest ...
