Bangladesh concrete project [01:34]
Bangladesh coastal area (this video is specifically Cox's Bazaar) does not have aggregate, so they making bricks and chip away to create aggregate. This was the only task I saw women and children performing outside the home. The mixed concrete was carried (by men) in baskets balanced atop the head, up two flights to the floor where it was being poured. (recorded in 1999)

Making bricks near Dhaka, Bangladesh. The dry clay powder is spread out and soaked for several hours, then it is placed through a mill to blend and even out the clay body before being take to the brick runs to be made into bricks.
