En el mes de febrero de 2012, con motivo del 40 aniversario del Art College fuimos invitados a participar en la exposición Lyrical Blend Bangladesh & Spain junto con el artista de Bangladesh Ahmed Nawaz. "Tengo la sensación que lo vivido no me cabe en los bolsillos, ni en la memoria de mi cámara, ni en el álbum del facebook, ni en las carpetas de los ordenadores que me han ido prestando durante todo este viaje, ni siquiera en la carpeta del escritorio de mi ordenador cuando llegue a España...El corazón fue el primero que me colgó el cartel de lleno y tuve que ir buscando a ver en qué otro lugar podría ir guardando...." Bengali New Year If you happen to be in Bangladesh & West Bengal during the middle of April, you would find people wishing "Shubo Nabo Barsho" to each other! Wondering what it means? "Shubo Nabo Barsho" means "A Very Happy New Year! Yes April is the month when the Bengali New Year is observed. It falls on 14th of April every year as per the Gregorian calendar. According to the Bengali calendar, the Bengali New Year or Poila Baisakh falls on the 1st day of the Baisakh month. The Nabo Barsha festival was introduced by Akbar, the great Mughal emperor. Poila Baisakh or Bengali New Year is celebrated with immense excitement and enthusiasm not only by the people residing in Bangladesh but also West Bengal and of course the tribal people residing in the hilly regions. Destination Nafakum Part-7: The Last night, Camp fire and Village festival [04:48]
We were exhausted as hell. In spite of that, when we heard that a group or Burmese artists was going to perform musicals we became very excited. It was winter. So we gathered woods and started camp fire to warm ourselves. The mood was set and we started chatting. Our boatman Ershad told us story of his life. He is very trustworthy person. If I go there another time, surely Im gonna take him as a guide without any doubt. At midnight we went to remakri bazar and found out people gathered on the yard were waiting for the show to start. The environment cannot be described with words. Sweet smell of tobacco was coming from all around the place. Artists were playing instruments we've never seen or heard. The music was different and addictive. There were temporary food stalls and many types of gamble. Ershad won in a gamble and treated us with tea. After waiting for a long time finally the curtain of the stage opened. We did not know the language but, were amazed by the music and dance. It was indeed a lifetime experience. The music was mesmerizing, the performance was amazing, the atmosphere was addictive and the whole setting was festive. These are the common people, who don't know ethnic difference and geographical politics, who don't know borders. They are happy with their peaceful life. I will remember Remakri with Love and Peace.......................

Live Presentation of 80plus1 Artist [07:18]
The live presentation is by the Live Bits artist Shahjahan Siraj over Skype. He talks with the audience via the MC at Linz Avenue's screening session. The presenters asked questions about the objectives, research findings, present trends and traditions of Dhaka markets and commerce. Along with explaining his experiences Mr. Siraj commented on the culture, life style and economic status of the markets. He also answered the questions from the audience at Linz. Both parties talked over the wireless Internet connectivity as a Live Bits event.
