Hi Islam,

It's good visiting Bangladesh every year. But be careful from "Chintaikari" . Now a days they are terrible. They are every where.

Early days hijackers only attcked people at a quite place and it occured a few places only. Now, it can happen at your door step even in your bed room also. You think that I am joking but it's the fact!

I didn't read what Naj advised you but include one more suggestion to your note book.

When you reach Bangladesh hire somebody from the security service and your journey will be nice and sound!

Have fun!

Cheers.

just wanto say that what people have experienced does not always mean that you will experience those things, however you should always be careful. I visit BD very often whenever i have time of uni, u have to know the language to get around in some places, other than that the public are very friendly and nice. the scenes, resturants, cafes, clubs are good, of course u have to know some of the right people. one other thing take some vitamin B6 it works as a natural mosquito repellant. good luck and enjoy.

bangladesh

came back from Bangladesh. It was great. Everything is changed. I can not recognize our old house. All new faces. Time flies. Miss the place where I was born and spent a fraction of my life,

spent 3 months in BD and it was great.

i read ppl point out the neg points but there are positive points as well. The airport service is so sh*t and the customs officer are motherf**kers looking for bribe and only bribe - gready buster*s. other than that it was wonderful

if you know ppl back the then you'll have a great time.

you need to be cautious though, make friends to hang around with (possibly relatives as you can't trust everyone there).

best time to go BD is between Nov and May when the weather is great. i was there from nov till feb, only rained 1 day n it was only a little drissle. roads are better at this time of the year.

BD is a much safe place now with the existance of RAB n that.

i have visited Cox bazar and Chittagong and i would recommand it to ppl. Just make sure u go there with someone who know the place well as it's a bit of a dangerous place for foreigners.

i can't wait till i go again to explore dhaka and the southside of bangladesh like Kulna n sunderbon.
