Wishful thinking Aff. As you didn't answer any of the questions about the defenders. I'll answer it for you. Man U win on all counts. Denis Irwin is in my opinion the greatest left back in the world over the 90's.

The difference between the two teams is that Utd are a team. AND they have the will to win. That desire can't be taught and sadly I don't see many players outside Man U with such a strong desire. OK they want to win but can they do it 90 minutes.

Saying that Gerrard will become world class is ludicrous. That's like saying that Stan Collymore will become a world class footballer 5 years ago.

L'pool have been trying to build a championship winning team ever since Dalglish left. But I don't think they are any nearer to achieving this than when Sounness was in charge. L'pool have far too many average players. Babbel, Murphy, Redknapp...

Arsenal have struggled this season because they are trying to replace the much missed Petit and Overmars. They're also struggling with the defence where Adams is still a key figure. I think next season the Arsenal will be much more stronger. Sheringham at the age of 35 is FAR superior to Litmanen. Who would you choose to bring on in the final 10 minutes of a european final being 1-0 down.

And you have still yet to argue the fact that the TEAM is what it's all about. Collectively the L'pool front line don't link as well with the midfield as Man U do.

ok.. Irwin as one of the greates full backs of the 90's... i think me and u is watchin a different game then... and saying babbel is a medioca player.. thats complete jargon.. Bayern Munich is just as big in germany as is Man U in England... he has helped them win league and cup double and helped them through to champs league.. Lets not forget his international succes with germany.. euro 96..
Irwin is a superb full back but please... not against babbel..

Redknap.. yeah its worth ratin him as a player at the mo is'nt it... he has'nt even played in the last two seasons.. plauged by injuries... thats like saying ranaldo is now just a medioca player.... his been out with injury too.. Rednkapp is a future england captain.. lets not forget his stunnin 25 yard goal for england against belgium.. absoluetly world class.. but he didnt get any more chances after that did he.. he went and got injured...

You mentioned.. Team play, which liverpool dont seem to have, but i mentioned that they still need time to gell as most of the players are still new to one another.. they in time would click and become the perfect footballin winnin machine...(lol, i like that).

Feguson took like 9 seasons to get his break through.. houlier in his third season has already set the fondation and i would say next season will be were the ball begins to roll, destroyin all other form of life in its way.. (lol)

Anyways.. Man U are a world class team, and i agree with ya that they have a better 'team spirit' then liverpool.. but Liverpool has just recently shown great team spirit.. Fowler just b4 recieving the cup said that redknapp should pick it up as he is officially the clubs captain, but redknapp declined and said nope.. u got us here u pick it up...
also the whole of the liverpool team was there, wether injured or not they were all there... far better then the likes of arsenal were their team captain, adams would prefer to go out and see a film with caprice rather then watching his team get slaughtered by Man U on sunday...

And Sheringham against Litmanen... oh my dayz.. i cant believe im hearin this.. remember the great Ajaxs team during the early 90's.. well u can thank Litmanens goals for that... tp scorer virtually everywhere, champs league included.. helpin ajaxs take the cup afetr cup, after cup..
a better CV then sheringham..

Anyways enuff.. me babbeled on to mch.. speaks to soon..
