I guess it's no big deal as Nepal are still pretty weak but still thought it rated a mention. Have to admit that I was a bit worried there after our boys gifted the Nepalis about fifty extras, actually allowing them to post a respectable total! (170 odd in 45 overs).
Anyway, good luck to the young Bangladeshis for the rest of the tournament! Pakistan U-17 will be the real test of course. |

Do you know how big Singapore is?
These are not real competition even. And I hope the Bangladeshis are not back at cheating with age. Remember they did that with the Football Under 19 and Under 16. Well they should probably play with India, Pakistan or one of the test nation for match of strength and improvement. We already know we are better than Nepal and Singapore.

mhnew, yes, I know how weak Singapore is, (only has a population of three million). I was only amused about the ridiculous margin of victory, (come on, you don't see a defeat by 345 runs that often in limited overs games!).
You see, I've been following the Bangladesh team for a while and I can remember when WE were cricketing midgets and were getting thumped by the likes of Denmark. That's why I enjoy seeing Bangladesh doing the thumping for a change, even if it's only against Nepal and Singapore! |

When was the Denmark thumping?
I reallly followed them when I was in Bangladesh. Remembered those ICC days but Denmark !!! Scary because they suck.
