NA All Stars beat World All Stars 14 -12in a defenceless hockey game.

Tidbits, Forsberg for the first time in his career scored against Patric Waugh.
Bill Guerin was MVP (3 goals and 2 helpers).

The NA also took the skills championship yesterday.

Yes but can they beat the Newcastle Jesters.

They would have no chance against the old Whitley Bay Warriors team.

Salam,

Yasmin,

What team were you talking about? I didn't know England had any Ice Hockey teams to talk about.

We do. The Whitley Bay Warriors are no longer in existence (I think). We also had the Cleveland Bombers and the Durham Wasps. Sheffield Steelers etc...

So has the All Stars result have any significance in the whole picture of things or is it just an exhibition match.

Just an exhibition match.

No real effect on NHL. Its just a fun weekend where no one plays defence. Thats why the ALL-Star games have so many goals. No one wants to risk an injury.
The fun part is it sometimes pits team members against each other. Eg. Waugh is the goaltender for the team in which Forsberg plays for.

But what if one of the sides decide to defend? Then wouldn't that mean that they will win?

Plus I don't know anything about Ice Hockey so I've never heard of Forehead and Waugh. Do the Mighty Ducks really exist or was it just for the movie?

Yea Mighty Ducks exist. They are based in Anaheim. Have Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya but the supporting crew is not that good. They are now at the bottom of the table.

No neither team plays defence. Or to put it nicely, play defence with skill, not with strength. No hits, no hipchecks, slashing, cornering players none of this take place. Thats a big part of defence in IceHockey.
All this may lead to injury. So is avoided.
