Well i'm not 100% sure for my self but I'm sure alot of ppl thought that refs were biased to the big clubs. Leeds in the 70's also had the same thing. Although in those days the refs were very lenient and you could break someones legs and still not give a foul. Leeds had a lot of HARD players then like Bremner.
