Which Sport are you guys obsessd about?

Over here in Canada everyone (almost) is obsessed about Hockey. What sports are people crasy about in the UK?

I came to Canada, couple of years ago but it didn't take me long to get onsessed with Hockey. I love Basketball.
As for Cricket and Soccer, people in Canada actually do obsess about it. In Van, there are three divisions in the Cricket league, though mostly desis(east indians, in this case), west indians, and ex-brit colony country people play.
My uni even has a cricket team. Soccer is probably the most common sport here but is not that popular.

So which Hocket team do you support? You are from the east, aeh. (Last bit to remind you I do live in canada).

Hi, yeah I'm from the east. I live in a small town called Hawkesbury, it's half way from Ottawa and Montreal. I'm more of a soccer fan then a hockey one. Oddly though I do here my self saying "eh" sometime after sentences so I guess it's true what they say about us Canadiens. Are you a girl or a boy? Maybe you mensioned it earlier in another post but I don't know. Have you gotten used our cold winters, oh wait your in Vancouver, it's not that cold there.

Won't say 'used to it' but can stand the winter now.

It's actually not that bad in vancouver. All my friends are quick to remind me that its more cold on the east. SO don't get a chance to complain much.

What's snooker?

It's a bit like pool or billiards but the table is bigger. There are fifteen reds and six colours. The reds are worth one point.

The yellow is worth 2
green = 3
brown = 4
blue = 5
pink = 6
black = 7

Basically you first need to pot a red followed by a colour followed by a red etc... If you pot a colour then the colour is respotted until the last red has been potted. It's rather complicated. But it is really big here. Pool is not a professional sport in the uk.
