latest....396/6. england are playing really well against the pakistanis. i can't believe thorpe made a century considering the way he started the test. he should have been out on the first day but the pakistanis gave him a chance and he took it very well. what can i say about saqlain, i think he is the best bowler at the moment.

I think saqi's taken to long to take the wickets - 40is overs wasnt it?

i've always thought thorpey would do ok - coz he always seems like an intelligent cricketer - and he's got no obvious technical deficiencies.

what i did find funny - was how nas got out yesterday - it looked so silly - bet he was embarassed.

second thing i noticed a lot of the commentators were saying how good the umpiring had been - but this was just after an incident in which apparently white should have been given out, but had been turned down by the umpire - if it was the other way round u know what would have been said.


it'd be good to see if englands slow bowlers can actually get a ball to turn for a change.

have u seen the pakistani guy who is umpiring the test match, he looks like a right idiot. in the one day series he took so much time to rase his finger for a simple decission. i couldn't stop laughing. the way he was acting.....

Wot are u talkin' about. Pakistan have avery good batting line up and england seem to have problems taking out the tail-end.

latest 116/2. i thought the england tail enders batted really well. even salisbury scored 31 runs. that's good for a bowler. is it saqlain versus england? he took all the england wickets.

I'm not talking about the england tail-end.

It's the pakistani tail-end. England have a tendency of not being able to finish off a team at the end and the other team will score another 50 runs for the final wicket.
