latest....pakistan close the day by scoring 119 runs with the expense of two wickets. i think this pitch is favouring the spinners. the ball will turn as the game progresses, so sailsbury should do good. winning the toss was very important. yasmin, i think u r right, england do have a problem in the bowling department. but they r good in fielding which the pakistani's lack.

A pitch that offers turn won't necessary help england - english spinners have found it increasingly difficult to make the ball turn in recent years.

But if u take a look at the pakistan lineup on paper - it is pretty scary. I think Naz realised that, and didnt wanna make his bowlers work too hard - hence the late declaration - i mean to get 18 wickets in 2 days will require the pitch to have deteriorated majorly
