Its Liverpools turn next did you say??????
Oh Locky my friend, your being to optimistic about a win over the almighty Liverpool. We have defeatet three of the four (one being us anyway) top teams in the premier league (leeds 3-1 and Arsenal 0-1-away). We are on a role mate. Its gonna take a lot to break our winning streak even though we are away. And it looks like Owen and Redknapp are fit to play the tie....hence, like you my friend I will be optimistic and say 'Liverpool will hammer Man U on the 4th of March'.... Anyway, may the best team win.... takecare aff |

hey aff, I think the three week layoff u guys had will be enough to break your winning streak, just joking. As u say, may the best team win. And as for Owen and Redknap, I don't think they will make any difference. Take care. Hope u all have a nice weekend.

Man U 1-1 Liverpool
Solskjaer , 45 Berger, 27 Oh well a draw, forgot about the possibity of a draw....anyway, altough Man U powred on the pressure we looked more dangerous on the break, and it was only when we went down to 10 men (sami hypia) during the last 10 minutes of the first half we conceeded the goal. Bergers goal was a wonder (35 yards) @ old trafford as well. Liverpool have a game in hand as well thus, we can close up the gap further more. But in saying that, I will also say that they'll regain the title. [This message has been edited by aff (edited 05 March 2000).] |

hey aff, u guys should have won the match. Owen missed that glorious chance. And how the hell did u guys block Sheringham's shot.
The goal Berger scored came out of nothing. The wall was crap and the keeper should have done better. United have big problem clearing high balls and G.Nevelle, I don't know what's wrong with him.The way he is playing, I wonder if Keegan is going to call him back to England squad. Did u watch the match between leicester and sunderland? Collymore scored hatric and the first goal was superb. |

In regards to my last message what I ment to say was (the last sentence):'But in saying that, I will also say that Man U will regain the title'.
Anyway about Sheringhams shot that was blocked in the dying mins it was'nt our defending that was spot on it was the fact that sheringhams a s**t striker, should that have been Yorke, solskjaer or even cole these days, Im sure it would have ended 2-1. Gary N plays for Man U, thats usually enough to get into the England Match. And sorry mate I did'nt catch the Lei/sun match I was back @ uni on Sunday, but I heard about his hatric....quite scary.. later aff |
