If ya need more info we can go into all the lingo about cricket

My name.....well I originally signed up with the name Marawak, and at the time I couldn't think of anything to call myself. I can speak Malaysian, and in Malaysia there is a state called Sarawak. My real name is Martin, so I just combined the two.....boring story I know

Over time I became Marawak_Bhai, and now I plan to stay and its my third time here, so its Marawak_3

.....now you can wake up

I had some good friends at school that were Malaysian.....I wen to their restaurant once while I was at college and they offered me a waiter's job.....it was a nice place too. Anyway, after a couple of weeks one of them had to go away in an emergency, so I learned how to cook all the Malaysian and Thai dishes and learned the language along the way. I have cooked for the royalty of Brunei and the high commissioner of Malaysia. Took me two years to master the lingo, but I'm still only 20.....

......so I'll save the book for another couple of decades when I can speak Bengali

Okay, since I've learned the rules of cricket from you and how to add smileys on, maybe you can teach me one more thing. I notice a lot of ppl on this forum use the terms college and university as though they were consecutive to one another. We (Canadians) go to either college or university (sometimes both, but not often). How does the British education system work?

BTW, it's awsome that you were able to pick up Malaysian that quickly. You must be great at learning languages.

We don't have high school over here.....we call it college...this is how our system works:

Aged 16, we do what are called GCSEs, and then move onto advanced level (known as A-Levels when we pass GCSE).

A-Levels are two year courses and we choose our subjects.....we do them at college and do the final exams for them when we are 17/18.

Aged 18 we go to university to do our degree.

I can pick things up just by listening to them.....I am quite good at getting the right accent as well, so if I get the word wrong, people still understand me

Anything else at all you would like some help with.....well ask me here, or I've mailed ya so use my email if you wish
