Heros

We say that some sports athletes are "heros"....but when you think about it, how are they heros? They get pain (most of them) millions of dollars to do something they are good at, and even AFTER that...they ask for more money...Like 20 million in 3 years isn't enough. When We call them hero's, are we not disgracing the true heros. I mean, look...Police(who are not -]corrupt[- and firefighters risk their lives everyday.....Rn't they are true heros? And should THEY be paid more money then $50,000/year?
-i know you could say, "the reason Beckham is getting millions is because he is a Terrific soccer players" and i agree with u...i mean its going to be hard to replace him, when he leaves a team....but they getting SO much publicity, and "moments" that it some times angers me...


DONT GET ME RONG...I LOVE SPORTS....its my life....but i just dont see the day when I would call a sports a HERO...maybe a idol...but not a hero...because I would rather have a fire fighter firght my fires with water, then beckham with a soccer ball...
