The Pakistan vs Bangladesh match last time round was brilliant entertainment - healthy friendly rivalry - traditional bangla folk songs sung by a section of the crowd who'd brought their tablas, flutes and harmoniums with them - lots of fancy-dress stores runnin out of tiger-outfits.... pitch invasion at the end... during the match, one English gentleman in the crowd, put down his newspaper (as they do ) to say to his neighbour, "this isn't a match, it's a carnival" - though he meant it as a compliment.


Neways February 11th - go to mox come back, have parathas etc - then find a house with Sky and settle down to watch the Bangladesh vs Canada match. It's the best chance B'desh have got to beat their record sequence of one-day defeats.

we should beat canada... they are the only ones deemed worse than us! they'll be playing on eid! hope we beat them.

and yes, they are the official supporters shirts (i think). i ordered mine on friday. hopefully get it by tuesday, so i can sit with my bangladesh tshirt on and watch the match on sky sports. if not, i'll be peed off!
