Well, they lost 2-1 at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United last night, but so what?

Was it all that bad? Do the fans really mean it when they scream for Gérard Houllier's head on a plate?

I think we all know the answer to that one. You can't just chop anyone's head off and blame it on the vikings. That's what one did back in the old days, but not anymore.

Liverpool put in a brave effort last night, but against the superior division one team it just wasn't good enough, and everybody in the United part of Sheffield is now confident their team can make it through to play Blackburn in the League Cup final.

I'm glad that you don't blamish yourself like so many others, and gulps up frases like "it's all because of the pitch", or "I think the ref was a scandal".
I know a forum where those phrases dominates every thread, only occationally interrupted by claims of the opponents bankruptcy followed by reference to page 17 in the finance report, and claims that all the others on the forum i liars.
Thank Bob that these pages are free from such rubbish.
