i have done my a level math this year and i loved it so much. i enjoyed it as well even though i did not get that good result. but it was wicked. the best a level i could imagine

Helllllp!Ok u Maths boffins prove 2 me that u really know your stuff. U have half an hour 2 answer this question. If a picture shows a square inside a circle. Find an expression for the AREA of the square in terms of the diameter. Thanks

- but can i just say, your quezzie sounds kinda vague - define exact position of this square within this circle?

The square a 2D shape is in the middle of the circle which is another 2D shape

If each corner of the square touches the circle - my guess is (diameter squared) / 2

So tell me - have i fallen dramatically on my face?

U have got part of it right but what I want 2 know is how u work out the area of the square afterwards.
