3 things you would do for Bangladesh if you were its ruler?

In that thread there has been some interesting thoughts posted by most people some funny and some serious, i do not want to prolong that thread any further so I started this new one this is what I do as oppose to what i would do for Bangladesh not as its ruler but as a Bangladeshi from the UK.

I grew up here and have come to realise that we are very good at dissing others always ready to critise others but fail to see what our own failings, take this scenario for example if you meet your relatives over a cup of cha and talk about BD often what you hear is all people present say "oh dont talk about BD they are all theives...currupt.." if every one says this then who is the theive and who is currupt?

I have got sick and tired of hearing people slagging off others yet doing nothing about it so i decided that I will do something practicle to help Bangladesh.

It is with this in mind that I spend a lot of time in BD doing charitable work, soon i realised that I can only do so much on my own and therefore with the help of some local people in Manchester England I set up a charity oragnisation Called Life Plus, it is a not profit making and regsitered charity organisation whose primary objective is to create Self Sufficiency amongst the poor Bangladeshi's in Bangladesh.

Life has already helped many families start their own small businesses, sponsors very bright students from poor background, providing basic medication and training and so on.

Rather than give them money which runs out quickly LifePlus helps them to stand ont heir own feet, this in turn gives them confidence and dignity.

Remember this is a very very small charity organisation set up my young people here with very limited funds mainly from our own pockets, it is non political and non sectarian.

Please feel free to make any comments (constructive only please) and I sincerly hope that you will join in with us or may be set somehting up yourself to help our poor people back home

Lets try to stop talking and actually do somethings
