Do Shias Believe In a Different Quran?

Asghar Ali says : The crux of the SHIA BELIEF of the Quran is the following:

Besides Hazrat Ali (as), nobody memorised the ENTIRE Quran that was revealed to Rasulullah (s.a.w.). In this Quran Hazrat Ali (as) and the rest of the eleven Infallible Imams were mentioned by name and declared as rightly entitled to being the leaders. It was much bigger than the present Quran. It contained 70000 verses. When the Quran was compiled in the time of Hazrat Abi Bakar, the Sahaaba (ra) changed many things and removed many words. The entire verse regarding the leadership of Hazrat Ali (as) was removed. Some verses were fabricated. The sequence was also changed. IS IT TRUE???!!!

Abdullah Says:

Brother Asghar Ali, I am very much thankful for asking such interesting question. We the majority always tried to criticise shias in all possible ways, whether it is true or false. Whenever we know something regarding any one, it is our duty to find out the fact, but we always have the blind faith to what our scholars say. If suppose we come to know that, Shias are having different Quran, then come let us find out where it is? Is it in their Mosque or in their House or they hide somewhere else? When such nonsense things are said by our scholars, is it not our duty to ask them the reference and the proof of what they says? Why do our scholars never allow us to discuss the religious matter with shias? On the other hand the Shias are always ready to discuss on the table, quoting references from our authentic books. If we claim that the Shias have changed the Quran and do not believe in the present Quran but are having different Quran. Then this is only the blame on them, and indirectly we are attacking the Book of Allah, because our claim is against Holy Quran.

Allah says: Surely we have revealed the reminder (Quran) and we will most surely be its guardian (15 :9)

If Allah takes the guarantee to protect Holy Quran, then how is it possible that any one can change it? And if it is so then (Mazallah-Mazallah) Shias are more powerful then Allah according to our belief. The present Quran is the only Quran which was compiled in the presence of Holy Prophet (P), because Holy Prophet said:

O my people I leave behind me for you two great objects (of authority): The book of Allah and my Ahl-e-Bait (as). If you remain attached to these never, never shall you be misled after me (for verily these two shall never, never be separated from each other untill they meet me at the fountain of Kauthar).

If their was no Quran in the form of Book, then how Holy Prophet said, I am leaving behind me Book of Allah? Secondly if the Holy Quran was not compiled in the presence of Holy Prophet (P), then why Hazrat Umar said, that the BOOK OF ALLAH (QURAN) IS SUFFICIENT. No doubt the Shias believe that Hazrat Ali (as) had compiled one Quran, but that is not different from the present one. The only difference is, that it contains the real meanings and deep commentaries. It is only the Ahl-e-bait (as) who understand Quran properly, Quran is the theory and Ahl-e-bait (as) are the models performing practical because they are free from errors (Ref. Holy Quran Chp.33 : Verse33) and no doubt it is only Hazrat Ali (as) who can do this great job, because Holy Prophet said:

I am the city of knowledge, and Ali (as) is its gate.

It is better to enter the city of knowledge through the gate instead of coming from the roof or windows, because entering from the gate is the sign of wisdom. More over in this matter, we are really worst than the enemies of Islam because they know that Holy Quran is the same as it was revealed to Holy Prophet (P). Hence even after being enemy they avoid raising this point. But we always raised this point to spread rumour against Shias. Well, I am very much sorry if my words have hurt any one I request the readers to guide me if I am wrong, because its our duty to guide each other.
