Pakistan has banned two sectarian parties, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah-e-Muhammed, which are involved in the killings of hundreds of sunnis and shias over the years. Sipah-e-Sihaba and Tehreek-e-Jaafriya have been issued warning, that in case of any involvement in sectarian violence they would be banned too.

I have to say - About Time! But declaring them banned doesn't eliminate them altogether. They will just change their clothings/spots and re-appear as something else or, go underground.

It'll take more than edicts to eliminate sectarian hatred!
