Is your Imam Khomeini better than the prophets of Israel? A simple and straitforward question.

Imam Khomeini was not divinely appointed so cannot be anywhere close to the status of a prophet (SAW), nor to the ahlulbait. However, for this day and age he was an excellent Muslim leader who did a lot of good in the name of Allah (SWT) and we should respect that.

Ayatullah Khomaini(ra) was a fallible and Prophets are infallibels.A fallible cant be greater in status by a infallible.!!!

There is a hadith which says that scholars of my Ummah are like the Prophets of Banu Israel!..It means that their PRESENCE is as important as that of Prophets but they are NEVER of the equal status of Prophets!

Ki,

First you have to find out the position of Imam In Shariah. Imam does not mean that he is Imam of Jumah prayers..

In Shia termology, Imam is a vice-gerent of Prophet(pbuh) he is the most leanred of his time and ONLY AND ONLY he has the right to rule over Muslim Ummah. These kinds of Imams whether higher in status by the Prophets of Bnau Isreal or not does not solve the problem..We have to talk on the bascis of Imamate as well as on its validity in Islamic Shariah...

I suggest that we should start from A advancing towards Z..But I have noticed that majority of my Sunni brothers start from Z and still they never reach on A...

A is the debate of Imamate from Quran and Authentic Sunnah..and Z is the debate of higher/lesser status of Imams of Ahl-e-Bait from the Prophets of Banu Isreal!

Make a choice!

Your question is not clear, oh prince of arrogance.

You're initial questionn is about Khomeini compared to prophets, then you go on to compare imams (no clarification?) with prophets. What exactly do you mean.
