If you are referring to the sinless, divinely appointed Imams from the ahl-ul-bayt then I have no problems with someone claiming the Imams ot be greater than the prophets, since both are divinely appointed and since there is clear evidence that it is possible for a person who is not a prophet to be greater than prophets!

Since you and other wahabis avoided responding to my comment last time, I will make it again here:

1) Khizr (SA) was not a prophet yet he was greater than prophet Musa (SA).

2) Jesus (SA) will pray behind and be a follower of Imam Mahdi. Yet Jesus is a prophet (SA) while Mahdi is an Imam.

3) In the Quran it says that Ibrahim is promoted from prophethood to position of Imam, suggesting that the status of Imam is greater than that of Prophethood.

4) There is no Quranic verse or hadith which says that soemone who is not a prophet cannot be greater than the prophets.

Try to resond to the points for once, brother KI!

The Prophet said, "Paradise and Hell (Fire) quarrelled in the presence of their Lord. Paradise said, 'O Lord! What is wrong with me that only the poor and humble people enter me ?' Hell (Fire) said, I have been favored with the arrogant people.' So Allah said to Paradise, 'You are My Mercy,' and said to Hell, 'You are My Punishment which I inflict upon whom I wish, and I shall fill both of you.'" The Prophet added, "As for Paradise, (it will be filled with good people) because Allah does not wrong any of His created things, and He creates for Hell (Fire) whomever He will, and they will be thrown into it, and it will say thrice, 'Is there any more, till Allah (will put) His Foot over it and it will become full and its sides will come close to each other and it will say, 'Qat! Qat! Qat! (Enough! Enough! Enough!) .


(Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 93, Number 541)

Sahih Boukhari is a sahih and the hadith you quoted is a sahih and if the prophet of Allah (saw) said it, I believe it.

Sahih Bukhari is not Book of Allah. Only QURAN is 100% true and perfect.

You haven't even thought it through!! You would put hadith over Qur'an?

“No vision can grasp Him, ....He is above all comprehension,...." (see al-Quran 6:103)

Talk about blind faith...ever considered that the hadith might be weak?
