Salam Alaikum..

Ki,

Its good that you are Arabic. It is more easy for you to understand Arabic terms.

We are talking about Assalamu AlaiKUM not about the mothers of believers.

Mothers of believers are most respectful personalities for all Muslims but what if a mother of a believer fights against righteous calpih and harbour hard feelings for ahl-e-Bait?

Now lets move to the KUM and KUNNA topic...

tell me very sincerely that whenever we see a group of Muslims all males, all females, majority male or majority female..we always say "Assalamu AlaiKUM" but never "Assalamu AlaiKUNNA"

It means that a specific term has nothing to do with the laws of the language!

wasslam
Jibran
