Why do many "maulanas" hate America?

C'mon guys..face it. Is this not true at a cetain degree? I'm not sure if this is prevalent in Sylheti or Dhaka regions, but as far as I know, where I live, this is true. In many (not all)'milads' and meetings, they will at least mention once that America is a bad influence. They never look at the better side. In America or the UK, many of us have more religious flexibilty. By that, I mean we have our way of doing things. Here, we are mixed together in a Muslim community of different races.
But noooooooooo!!All they wanna do is criticize, criticize, and well, u know. Don't get me wrong, but this true.

Yep it's true. The reason for this is that they only look to certain aspects of their values and thus form rather strong views about them.

However, many ppl in the west have very strong family and social values which is not seen by these maulana's.

Firstly we should understand that internationally and politically America do not have a good record for human rights. For instance they dropped an atomic bomb in Hiroshima from which the people are still suffering. Even now they still continue to bomb innocent Iraqi civilians for political gains. Not to mention their strong support for Israel...

Because America has the strongest propaganda machine in the world (via Hollywood) it is not supprising they are critised more then other countries. To name a few (that I know about) - France, China and Russia have had to content with America's strong propaganda. For example, France put a law into place to limit how much America TV is shown each day in an attempt to preserve its culture. So there are other reasons other than "Muslims verses America" that people have for critising them.

America does not mean everyone. Most American don't care about their government nor are they part of many of its doings. I have met American who are very much pro-Palestine, pro-Iraq and so on. Also don't forget there are 5 million American Muslims who are from all walks of life.
Some are in the Army also.
They have many good traits and we should pick up those but the bad ones we are to avoid. As for Maulanas in bangladesh, again not all of them are the same. Some very narrow-minded ones only see the bad of other and good of themselves. We Bangladeshis have somne very bad character traits that these Maulanas never notice.

There are many rumors surrounding the reason he made his way, with 11 year old Madeleine , to the U.S. There is also a mystery as to how and why his entry into this country was approved during a time that known communists were black-listed by the INS. One FBI report during that era suggested that he was "suspected of establishing secure communications between communists in the U.S. government and the Kremlin!"

Oh--I forgot to mention, both her father Joseph Kerbel and Joseph Stalin were Jewish.

Mad Albright's father 'took war loot to America'
A WEALTHY Austrian family is threatening legal action against Madeleine Albright, the American secretary of state, in an acrimonious row over a priceless collection of paintings and antiques that has its roots in the chaotic aftermath of the second world war. In a hitherto unpublicized dispute, descendants of Karl Nebrich, an Austrian industrialist, claim that Albright's father, Josef Korbel, a former Czech foreign ministry official who was Jewish, stole millions of dollars' worth of art and furniture from them, then fled with it and his family to America at the end of the war.

After escaping to London when the Germans marched into Prague in 1939, her family returned to the Czech capital in 1945, when Albright was eight. They found that several of the family's Jewish relatives who had stayed behind had died in concentration camps. A luxurious first-floor flat at 11 Hradsanke Street in Prague was assigned to Albright's father as a reward for his services to the Czech foreign ministry. It had been expropriated from the Nebriches, who, although not members of the Nazi party, had lived comfortably as citizens of the Reich during the war but then found themselves out of favour with the Czech authorities when the war ended.

The Nebriches allege that Korbel took possession of paintings, silver and antique furniture, though these were not included in the expropriation order. "He took the lot, even the nails from the wall," said Doris Renner, a daughter of Nebrich. When Korbel was appointed ambassador to Yugoslavia, he moved his family - and, allegedly, the treasure trove of art - to Belgrade. Albright handed the legal file to John Korbel, her younger brother. Michael Jaffe, his lawyer, wrote to Harmer in October, 1997, saying: "There is no basis whatever for thinking that any artworks of the late Ambassador Korbel came to him improperly."
Harmer said the family believed that Korbel Sr might have sold some of the paintings to finance his start in America.

Oh really. I did not find any such person here since last one year.

I did talk to many people on line and face to face and I think out of million there might not be one american white girl/guy at the age of 20 who never had dash dash.
Family values are really really bad here. no sincerity at all.

They do have many many good thing though like good workers and politness and honest with rules to follow. so on ....

I think reason we do not like them is that there wish to rule the world. Like they do interrupt in our countries personal afairs. They keep track that no nation become so strong that at some point it can challenge USA.
They do take part in making and breaking Govt. in countries.
That's why people dislike them .....
A common american is good guy mean at least he do follow rules and not a corrupt person. But they have no sence that what is right and wrong and they do mostly do things that gives them benefit and pleasure for the time being. Like a animal....
