salaam brother wais
You asked what is the method to re-establish the islamic state?? When ever we do an action as muslims we always refer to quran and sunnah. So if we wanted to trade with shares on the stock market, we will not use our aql (mind) to understand whether this is halal or haram, rather we would refer to the text i.e. quran and sunnah. And this applies to any action we as humans whether be it understand our social affairs, our political affairs, our economic affairs etc etc. Now we know from quran and sunnah that to bring back islam as a way of life, whereby we can live under the islamic shariah, rather than be ruled over by capitalism, democracy, secularism and other so called 'isms'. Even the non muslims will be able to live under the islamic state. They will be known as the ahl al dhimmi (people of contract). The jews and chritians had their most fruitful period under the khilfah and you will many jews and chritians will testify to that. So we know from evidence from quran and sunnah that to bring back the islamic state is fard (obligation). Now in islam every fard has a method to acheive this. As an example. The quran commands the muslims to pray "aqimus salat". Now the issue is how do we pray because the quran does not highjlight this. So now when we look to the seerah of rasuallah (saw) we find the method and rules of prayer. i.e. the call to adhan, the recitation of surah fatihah, going to rukuh, then sajdah etc etc. The prophet (saw) showed us the method to fulfil this fard. Likewise with other fard as well they all have been commnaded in the holy quran and the sunnah has explained the method to perform the commandment. So when it comes to the issue of the khilafah. similarly we know it is fard, so we refer to the sunnah of the prophet (saw) to establish the method. Brother before i go any further, although you stated that i should not ask you for your opinion. I am interested to know what in your opnion is the method. any good from this message is from allah (swt) and his messenger (saw) and any mistakes are mine alone. Jazak allah |

bismil rabil noor,
assamlamu alaikum, dear br you said, "When ever we do an action as muslims we always refer to quran and sunnah. " aql is one of the sources like the hadith and the book(qur'an). let me give an example, based on the book and sunna which person is more pious, the oe riding a camel or driving a car? and why? islam has an answer for everything, including this question. without aql it appears that riding a camel is more of sunna thus the person doing so is more pious, or is he? another question is the battle of jamal when aesha fought ali. in accordance with qur'an and sunna what would a muslims position be? if we were there who we support? what part of qur'an and sunna was missed by all those great sahabis who took part in that battle and killed each other? also, you state that establishing the state is fard, i agree with this but there is no single aya in the whole of qur'an to give this instruction. in the case of prayer there are many instruction. so again what is the evidence that we should have a state? finally, agreeing that we need a state then the question is wht method. to say in accordance with sunna does not answer the question, it is better to give details. in other words what was the sunna in this regard? wasalam, mahdi |

jazak allah for your comments. I will quote you two ayahs "it is not for a believer, man or woman, when allah and his messenger have decreed a mtter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys allah and his messenger, he has indeed stryaed in a plain error" (al-ahzab 33:66) "oh you who believe! obey allah and his messenger, nd those of you who are in authority. If you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to allah and his messenger, if you believe in allah and in the last day. This is better sand more suitable for final destination" (An- nisa'a 4:59) Bro these two ayah clearly indicate that we should always refer to allah and his messenger i.e. quran and sunnah. There are many ayah and hadiths that indicate this. Even in the prophet (saw) last sermon he obliged the muslims to follow quran and sunnah. What i meant by using the mind is that as an example we have many bengali muslims owning restaurants that serve alcohol. Now when you speak to these muslims about this they answer is " i am not either drinking or touching this, i am only selling this to the non muslims" . This answer they gave, they did not refer to quran and sunnah, rather they used their own mind. Rather we know from quran and sunnah that alchohol is clearly haram, one cannot trade with it, buy it, profit from it, drink it, touch it etc. This principle goes for all other action we do in life I did not get your point about the camel bro. Insha allah if you can ellaborate. And insha allah i hope this has clarified the issue. all good from this message is from allah (swt) and his messanger (saw) any mistakes are mine. jazak allah |

AR: I can not disagree with you on this regard as far as these verses are concerned. the first refers not to go against Allah and his Messenger, the second refers to obeying Allah (Swt) and His Messenger (saw,) but it does not say "go and establish an Islamic state" does it? |

bismil rabil noor,
assalamu alaikum, these ayas do not tell us that we must establish an islamic state. we do not live in islamic state but we must adhere to commeands of allah s.w.t and his messenger s.a.w. some of our ulama disagree with the view that we must have a state due to lack of avidence, i not being an alem support the view of those ulama who say we should and that it is a duty to stirve for one. i guessed that what you meant by mind was as you said, i just for clarification and misuse by some anti-everything person mentioned that aql is the device. on theexample that you gave, they fail to use aql in order to find the rule of allah s.w.t and instead try to excuse their act. surely, selling alcohol to muslim or non muslim is haram, for a muslim would not buy and drink such a thing. my exmaple for the camel was to demonstrate that we sould follow the sera of the prophet and not his so called sunna. or to clarify, what we call sunna really means sera. he used to travel on a camel and dressed appropriately for the country where he lived. to follow sunna we must do the same. many who use miswak think that they are following sunna, leaving a clean and advanced method of cleaning teech aside. but they do not use a camel instead of a car. why? the answer is confusion between sera and sunna. i am not capable of giving a deserving explanation but shaheed ayatollah mutahhari in his book sera vs sunna has given a good coverage, i strongly advise the reading of the book. in brief, sera is to find out the reasons for the acts of the prophet s.a.w and following that while sunna means to copy him like for like. according to sera (the original meanig of sunna and not what we use) we should use cars to travel because the reason why he used camel was that it was the most advanced form of travel. but according to sunna as used now days we should ride a camel. i hope i have clarified the point. the same is for miswak, he used it not because he was inlove with it but because it was the best avaiable form of cleaning the mouth. yet he did not put it inhis pocket with the part that goes inthe mouth fully displaced for everyone to see or did not opn his mouth in front of everyone and spat mouth water infull view like a jahel(ignorant fromthe desert) no companian would have loved a man with such manner if it was true. the love he enjoyed was due to his manners. unfortunately, in the name of sunna we have gone astry and are following the version and image of a prophet that never existed and was made up by his enemies. themohammad that we call a prophet never existed and the mohammad who was a prophet s.a.w. is unknown to most of us. sorry for the length but due to lack of ability one cannot be concise. wasalm your humble servant mahdi |
