Salaam to you all!!

Me just wanna know about dreams people say that most of the dreams we have have a meaning behind them from Allah. . . do they ok ok i do agree because there have been some real weird experiences i have had in the past. . . . . . so any way me wanna know what one of my dreams mean?? Cuj i have been dreaming this dream(this is all getting a bit tongue twisty lol). . .any way nearly everynight when i go to sleep i dream of dead people. . people whom i do not know??

1= I ws walking down this road by myself and it was (Maghrib prayer time), and this old man say's to me come i will take you with me, so i went with him and we came to this place of dead bodies, he gave me a (Bodhna..you know what you washh your * with), any way the next thing i know he gave me this to wash the dead body. . .so i did and he was there telling me all the way what to do . . .also i was not scared that was the funny thing. . . and he told me dont be scared.. . he then gave me flowers and some kind of perfume to put on the body. In the end he took me all the way back home . . . and then i woke up!

2= once i dreamt there was someone sleeping in the empty room(in our house), well they were not sleeping they were dead and they are covered in a quilt, and it looked as if they were falling off the bed,so i went and said to my mom the body is falling off the bed i want to live somewhere else i dont want to live in a house with a dead body. .. . please bury this quick!!

3= dream there was someone dead in my older brothers house and the body was lying down on the bed in the epmty room, and i said to my Bhabi i am not sleeping on that bed, wash the bedsheet, and bury the dead body!!(these are all cut short)!

4= i saw this girl in our house and she suddenly collapsed, and my mom goes call the ambulance she is dead !1 ok ok lolif you like it is quite funny in the saylight. . . but when i am all alone under my quilt i get soo scared.

this is not it i promise i have more dreams but you will gwt bored!! Lol hee hehe, any way what is the meaning behind all this??

and it is not as if i am scared of dead bodies really, because i have actually helped to wash a dead body in East London Mosque well it was my 6 year old neice's body, she was a cute girl allah bless her..ameen. So any way any body have the slightest idea what all this is about??? Cuj it is freaking me out! I even had one this morning.

Affa - I think i can help you.........the scientific explanation of dreams is that they are subliminal messages deep within our subconcious mind - Some say they are our innermost desires (?) -

Dreams are very powerful - power which we have no or little understanding of.

I can go on - but first, i need to ask affa, are these re-occurring dreams or just one-offs? If they are the former, i think it would be better to email you.

There are many islamic books available about dreams and their significance. If you read the story of the Prophet Yusuf (PBUH) (Joseph, pbuh in the bible) you will know that some dreams are from Allah and are very true and have a meaning. However, some dreams just come from our imagination. Also I have read about dreams where relatives who have passed away are trying to give a message of some sort - for example, they may be trying to show you that they disapprove of something you are doing, in which case if you change your behaviour you should have another dream in which there is approval of your change of behaviour. Insh'Allah, I will do a bit of research on this topic and invite Muhammad and AR to do the same, and will post something! By the way Selina, nice to see you in the religion board.

well can someone help me.....

i dream of close family and frineds dying, these are just weird dreams that i can not attach any meaning to.

Can anybody help.

These dreams have happened over several months and are quite disturbing if i go into detail. e.g. in one dream i saw my brother being executed by the gilletin.

Shalim - Chances are, your brother, or whomever you see being executed in your dreams, is going through some rough times, and you are over-stressed about it. That is one possible explanation.

I remember that when my sister was going through some rough times, I saw snakes (snakes symbolize imminent danger) trying to attack her... sure enough, the next day I hear of horrible news regarding that sister.
Sometimes, we have dreams about our brothers and sisters, that warn us ahead of time of danger or good times to come. It is either a coincidence, or the act of Allah (I am more inclined to believe the latter). Some of us have more intuitive powers than others, so we may see more vivid dreams than others. I for one dream in color....I heard many times that we dream in black and white....but I can wake up the next day and remember vivid colors I saw.

You must not discussed your dreams with anyone if they are bad dreams.

I read somewhere that if you discuss bad dreams it will come true.

If you have a good then you can discuss it with people.
