Not that I want one…………..
But is it against Islam to get one? I don’t know so someone fill me in.
What about piercing? <---- That I really don’t want one
I know many members of Nation of Islam (the black Islamic group in the U.S) have tattoos. Yea, I know they are not really Muslims because they believe Allisha Mohammed was the last profit or something like that. So what are your Replies on this?

Tatoos, not sure what exactly Islamic law is but will find out.
Here is what I think
It is not allowed as we are not allowed to do anything that is unnatural and artificial to our body except what is necessary specially if its going to hurt the body. There is a verse in the holy quran that we are not allowed to hurt the body or inflict pain.
Piercing
Again need to find out for certainty what is the ruling but this is what I know
that only women are allowed to do this, men can not since this is done by women and we are fobidden to do anything that the opposite sex does, i.e. dress like them etc.

brother a. rahman is right it is haram to have tattoos.

this is an evidence from hadith:

on the authority of Ibni-Omar, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:

"Allah curses the woman who adds artificial hair to her own and the one who adds it for her, and the tattooed woman and the tattoer woman."

although the hadith refers to woman, the tattoos also apply to men.

If you need further evidence then insha allah i will try and get it.

Thetypes of tattoos often adorned are particularly anti islamic and should not be worn by a muslim
