Muhammad(saw) said, "There will come a time when all the nations will be over you surrounding you as animals surround the meat."
"O Prophet(saw), is this because we will be small in number?" they asked.
"No, you will be many but you will be like the foam on water. Allah(swt) will take your courage and put it in the heart of your enemy and take from your enemy their cowardness and put it in your heart, and you will love this dunya and hate death."
This is exactly the situation that we Muslims are in today. We are like a piece of meat which is being torn into pieces by the Dogs (kafir). We are unable to defend ourselves, our properties, our resources, our families, our ummah. Now is this the Noble Ummah of Muhammad(saw)? Why are we being played about with? Have we ever been played about with in the history of the Islamic rule? No. We have declined so much and no one is to blame but our own-selves for our downfall.
But we can change this current situation that we are in. But the question is do we want to? If we do then why are we not moving? Are we willing to struggle to change our situation? Remember Allah(swt) says in the Quran, 'Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change that which is within themselves' [tmq 13:11]

There are many Muslims in the world today, so we are not small in number at all. If you look to the latter part of the hadith, you will see how the Kuffar are the strong ones today and we are the weak. Lets not forget the situation that occurred in Kosovo, how some Serbs lined up many Muslim men and these Serbs raped their wives and daughters infront of their eyes, and then shot all of the Muslim men, and none of them even tried to struggle to defend their honour, even though they were more in number than the Kafir Serbs. This is because FEAR PARALYSES NATIONS. But whom should we fear? The Kuffar or Allah(swt)? Who will we be judged by on the Day of Judgement? We should fear none but Allah(swt), and not have cowardness in our hearts as this is not something a Muslim has. The Muslim is courageous and strong and will give his life up in the path of Islam. The Kuffar are the ones who are the cowards, they are the ones who love this life and hate death, we love death as we will be meeting Allah(swt).
We have to go back to the teachings of Islam and remember that Muhammad(saw) established the state and by this, all the problems were solved, ie the persecution, boycott, torture, fighting between tribes etc and so we also need to bring about this state soon inshaallah - as this is worship to Allah(swt) and only by this we will no longer be a piece of meat thrown about and the dogs tearing us apart but we will be the strong Ummah of Muhammad(saw) as we should be and no longer be in decline.
