salaam to the brothers and sisters
Insha allah i want raise a few points here and would be very interested on any responses. You have been talking about the little boy who has memorised the quran. Allah has blessed this boy with the islamic knowledge and guidance. However brothers and sisters lets not use the word miracle as when we refer to quran and sunnah, we find that miracles ( meaning defying laws of nature) only applies to the prophets that came before us. This only happened by the will of allah (swt). So we know from quran and sunnah that prophets like isa (as) and musa (as) performed miracles. Isa (as) could heal the ill and wounded. And musa (as) parted the sea. We all know the events that took place. This only happened by the will of allah and only prophets were given this capability to prove to the people of their time there is a god. With regards to knowledge and memorising the quran. When we had the islamic state, there was an era when baghdad was the centre of the islamic state and we found that there were mujtahids i.e. scholars from the age of 8 upwards. You would find whole streets full of very young scholars. Now contrast that to todays reality. How many young scholars do we know today at that age. The situation then to know is that we had an islamic state where the rules, culture. |
