besmel rabil noor,
As someone who started school in a catholic school I have a question that has always baffled me and would like Ush who is an expert in Islam and from that I assume he must know his oun religion as well to explain. According to christianity, jesus was crucified, died on the cross and raised from dead.... question 1-did this man on the cross really die or was he pretending to be dead, in other words was he cheating? 2-if he did not really die and since you have such high morals, as pretended by the other topics discussed how can you follow a cheat? mahdi |

Assalamu Aleikum brother Mahdi: First I would like to know if you are from muslim family. If you are so, you need more information about Koran and hadiths telling about prophet Jesus history, by a Sheikh of Koran Tafsir or Hadiths (may be Sunni Sheikh or Shia Sheikh, you choose the best for you. If you are catholic christian you have to study all common Bible (catholic version or greek version, not american or protestant version, it is changed) and the other testament (Apokrisfos) where you'll find another history of Jesus, different of the common Bible used by christians, but every catholic or ortodox father reads all them but the common christian doesn´t know about. well, dear brother, I am converted muslim from Argentina, South America. I passed through every religions here but at last I prefer ISLAM. Yusuf Mayid email: mayid@parsmail.com |

Dear Mahdi,
>> According to christianity, jesus was crucified, died on the cross and raised from dead.... question 1-did this man on the cross really die or was he pretending to be dead, in other words was he cheating? 2-if he did not really die and since you have such high morals, as pretended by the other topics discussed how can you follow a cheat? >> It depends if you are after the truth or after slandering Christians! We don't follow cheats or liars. There is secular evidence to prove that Jesus did die and was raised from the dead. I will give you two links and rest is up to you to what you want to believe. http://www.debate.org.uk/topics/theo/resurrec.htm http://www.answering-islam.org/gilch...ucifixion.html For those who seek the truth Bornagain |

bsmil khalqil noor,
salam to all, i am glad that you asked if i was after the truth, certainly, i did not intend to insult any christians or infact anyone from any denomination. it is un-islamic to do otherwise, as you must know. in a world where belief is under attack by non-believers should form a stronger bond against the non-believers who intend on destroying any form of godly belief. however, my question was not intended as an insult, as you know to muslims jesus or eesaa a.s. is a prophet but the man who died on the cross, as we believe was not jesus a.a. for the time being i leave the issue of who died on the cross form a muslim perspective aside. what is intriguing to me is to know, now that you say jesus did die on the cross and that he was raised from dead then there is another question. 1-while jesus was dead, who was running the world, as he is god himself? 2-who raised him from dead, as he is god and god died on the cross? this is not a challenge but only for you to see that the belief does not hold very well. wasalm, mahdi |
