NO WOMAN IS SAID TO BE TRULY ACCEPTED THE MESSEGE OF ISLAM, UNLESS THEY DO SO OUT OF THERE ORIGINAL AND INDEPENDENT WILL. NOR DOES A WOMAN BECOME A MUSLIM MERELY BECAUSE OF THIE RELATIONSHIP WITH THERE FATHER, HUSBAND OR ANY OTHER MALES...

DOES ANYONE AGREE OR DISAGREE HERE??
WITH REASONS PLEASE, THANX

SALAM...

THE SAME DOES APPLY TO MEN AS WELL...

MALE AND FEMALE HAVE DIFFERENT STANDS OVER THE RELIGIOUS OPTION. FOR INSTANCE, A WOMAN LIKE FATIMA, THE DAUGHTER OF AL-KHATTAB, EMBRACED ISLAM ALTHOUGH HER BROTHER OMER WAS STILL AN UNBELIEVER...

IN ISLAM A WOMAN IS AN INDEPENDENT ENTITY, AND A FULLY RESPONSIBLE HUMAN BEING. ISLAM ADDRESSES THEM DIRECTLY AND DOES NOT APPROACH THEM THROUGH THE AGENCY OF MUSLIM MALES!!

SALAM...

Please be careful with your comments. A woman who is born a Muslim must not under any circumstances feel that it is optional whether she wants to be a Muslim or not. There is no room for encouragement and existence of Murtaads in the Islamic tradition. That is the bottom line.

I fully undestood your initial posting but your phrasing of the issue could have been better. Dr. Turabi is a respected Sudanese guy running Sudan and he would phrase what you did a bit more eloquently not to provoke an unnecessary discussion. Your comments are noted, no offence.

I just do not understand the point of this, same principle applies to both men and women, and the same goes for murthadh!?!
Islam is a religion that has to be accepted through, faith, reason and conviction and any form of force is NOT acceptable as the Quran clearly says " no complusion in religion..."
