Cool

Asalaamu Alaikum,
ChEcK ThiS Out !

Before Praying The Prophet(SAW) said people should clean their teeth with Miswak twigs. For centuries now muslims have been cleaning their teeth with tiny branches from a Miswak tree.
Now studies in Egypt show that using these twigs not only cleans plaque from teeth, but it leaves a residue that continues to kill the baterias even after a couple of days. A mouthwash containing the essence of this tree reduced one kind of oral bateria 75% after only one rinse!!
Traditional toothpaste rely on abrasives and synhetic detergents to clean, miswak toothpaste use naturally occuring antiseptics and antimicrobial ingredients. They also contain tannin, which is shown to reduce gingival bleeding and gingival inflammation. Miswak is a natural, powerful stain remover and users say using the twig instead of a brush will give whiter, brighter, teeth!!
taken from: The Doctors Book of Home Remedies. cOoL HuH?
This just shows how important it is to follow the Sunnah, even if we don't know the benefits of it. Scientists are just now figuring out Today what our Prophet(SAW) knew more than 1400 yrs ago.

Wink

Assalamu Alaikum,
Someone once said to me,
"Pray your prayer like a man who thinks he will pray none besides it"
It basically means pray each salaat as if it is your last.
I hope that it inspires you.

salaamu alaikum,
taken from "Seeking the inner muslim" by ABdullah HAKIM Quick
"Many believers feel that their back is against the wall and the whole earth is closing in on them. They do not see any escape or relief in the next few decades. ALLAH tells us in the blessed Qur'an: " AND WHOEVER KEEPS HIS DUTY TO ALLAH, ALLAH WILL MAKE A WAY OUT FOR HIM AND PROVIDE FOR HIM FROM WHERE HE KNOWS NOT. AND WHOEVER DEPENDS ON ALLAH, ALLAH IS SUFFICIENT FOR HIM. SURELY ALLAH WILL ACHIEVE HIS PURPOSE. HE HAS MADE A LIMIT FOR ALL THINGS."65:3

Assalamu alikum
i would like to add something as well
'the route to hell is theough good intension'
expalining:
in obvious case we as a student have good intension of revising and doing well on exams but how many people actualy act upon it and do well at the end?
as a muslim some of us have very good intenison of becoming a good person a good muslim, since they all say that they belive Allah as the supreme being but howmany muslim actualy acting upon Quran and sunnah? arenot they making thier way to the hell just by having intension?
we should all be very careful when saying we are a muslim and we follow islam cos it is not enough just saying without doing since a tape recorder could repeat this for many times.i hope i have made a point and what i have said makes sense to ppl.
