"MAJLIS" ON DEEDAT'S ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE

"THE MAJLIS NEWSPAPER published from Port Elisabeth by Maulavi Sadak Desai condemns Deedat in no uncertain terms regarding Deedat's Islamic knowledge, by saying:

Firstly, it is essential to state and stress that Mr Deedat is not a man of Islamic learning. He is not qualified to speak on matters pertaining to the Shariah. What is Fardh upon Mr Deedat is the acquisition of the basic rules pertaining to Wudhu, Salaat, Saum, etc. So that he may be in position to discharge his daily Islamic duties. But, Islamic law is not his avenue. Mr Deedat is absolutely confused by claiming that "there is no prohibition against women attending mosque" and "this is not traditionally done". His confusion is the product of his stark ignorance of the Shariah.
Mr Deedat is dabbling in matters about which he has no knowledge and possesses no ability and no qualification, and has brought himself under the purview of Rasulullah's (Sallallahu alaihu wasallam) warning.

"He who speaks a lie on me should prepare his abode in the fire"

It is about people of Mr Deedat's calibre that Sayyidina Umar said:

"Verily, the people of opinion are the enemies of the Sunnah."

All Muslims should beware of the un-Islamic and baatil propagation of those who hold no status in Islamic knowledge. The modernists in propagating the Kufr and Baatil and trifling with Imman. Their end shall be disaster. ("Majlis", vol.4, no.6 - Port Elizabeth) (M.D. p.54)

COMMENT:

On this Basis Ahmed Deedat must very sadly now be in Hell:

>>"He who speaks a lie on me should prepare his abode in the fire" <<

I am not trying to defen Dedat but just to state a few facts. It is true Detat is not an traditional Islamic Sholar, but i have to admit that his knowledge of Islam is far greater than yours or mine and that he has done a good service for the Muslims in whatever way he could, you sholud know that no man is perfect, but should do their best.

I do not know what the people who wrote the article you have provided are going on about becasue it is a fact that during the times of the Prophet (pbuh) women did attend mosques, paryed and listend to lectures...Of-course they were segragated from the men. How can any one deny this fact?

Question

And who is the Majlis and Desai to say that so and so is not this and that, and who gives them the authority to place an Islamic Verdict, are they themselves qualified?

And who are you Taj to do allah's job and decide who goes to Hell? Have you forgotten that there wil be a Day of Judgement, on which day Allah will decide the true status of each and every individual? If you consider yourself to be pious then remember there is a hadith-ul-Qudsi, in which Allah says "...give a warning to the pious because if an atom of pride enters their heart they wil reside in the deppest levels of Hell".
So be careful what you say. Anyway, do you regard yourself as a traditional scholar - if you do then yu have no right to be one and if you're not then are'nt you applying double standards, ie Ahmed Deedat has no right to talk about Islam but you do! Makes me wonder if you're even a muslim, or just someone trying to cause confusion! In either case your attitude stinks!
