I understand that the Supreme Court of Pakistan already ruled that: Henceforth, all banking activities in Pakistan should be conducted on interest-free basis (lending-rate / borrowing-rate should not exist).
Finance Minister of Pak., ofcourse, prayed for two years time before the `rule' could be implemented / enforced. Well, tease your brain and enumerate the pros and cons of applicability of this `rule' prescribed, as I understand, by the Islam !!! Should Bangladesh, an Islamic nation, follow suit and enforce the identical `law'? |
