Perfumes/Atar

I spoke to few Islamic thinkers of Bangladesh regarding the perfume stuff. What all of them advised was interesting. They said according to Islam an alcoholic perfume can be used provided with the alcoholic smell never supersedes the fragrance of perfume. Any perfume or scent that contains less/minimum alcohol is Zayez. But as it is difficult or controversial to determine the amount less/minimum, it is advised to avoid those perfumes.

Hey CC, i have heard that too.
But dont u think its scary that our Prophet saw. CURSED even those who handle alcohol? It seems to me that making intentional contact with the stuff, is worse, but i have little knowledge.....
lets leave it to the scholars.
