WHY MOST MUSLIMS AND ALL CHRISTIANS BELIEVE THE SAME ABOUT JESUS (AS)

SALAM TO ALL,

How come most of the muslim community and all of the Christian world believe the same thing about the second coming of Jesus (as). Isn't there something funny about that? I really would like to know how much depth and understanding some of you possess, so that you can enlighten the rest of us.

It is indeed bizzare that the ill educated Ummahs and the so called Olemas try to present a view which has no precedent in the history of any other religion. It is a known fact that God always sets examples and send down signs through the Prophets for the following generations - never did He (God) ever set unreasonable examples where believers will be confused. Yet more astonihsing is the fact that when one begins to go deep in to the philosophy of the Holy Prophet (sa)'s tradition and sayings one can easily see that there is no room for conjecture and guessing game in Islam. But if one just uses his God given logic he/she will easily see that it is purely a guess that Jesus (as) will revisit the earth again like the christians believe.

So please some one tell me how did this belief system come in the fold of Islam? Where did the Mullahs find such horrendous stories such as he (Jesus [as]) will come down on the wings of angels from Haven and then do all those bizzare things to turn people to God. Exactly as the Christians believe. Where are the metaphors when you need them?

Muslims and Christians believe same abouty Jesus (bar his divinity and crcifixion), in the same way we believe the same about Moses (AS), Abraham (AS), God etc. The similarities between faiths shows that there was the same source.

It would make sense to reply to posts made in your other thread, on Messiah, Mahdi being the same.
