My SALAAM to ALL!
Mr.Bang ALI wrote;
"YES. But those that continue to support their past actions are just as bad. The only thing that makes them different is TIME. If they were born 30 earlier, then they too may have acted out the atrocities."

OH, SO WRONG! They LOST the WAR and by that Half of the country, so Make it logical How they can support it???????
And WHAT a NON-SENSE," if they were born 30 earlier....."???
Yes one can expect such non-senses from you and others who after liberation became "Prisoners of HATE".

All people can NOT understand things in a specific way but to make them more clear sometime one must put them in a uncomfortable situation. NOW lets take a unplesant example:

Lets say ( HOPE NOT, WISH NOT) there is a separation movement somewhere near the borders of India. Reason can be any, BUT some people of some area want their own independent state and be separated from Bangladesh. Army of the country is surrounded. Agents from india are involved and supplying arms. Bangladesh army general at the spot have strict order from central government-Dhaka, to save the country. Tell me WHAT THE BANGLADESH ARMY WILL DO? WHAT DO YOU THINK WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO?
Just put yourself in that position. I took here wxample of your own country, in fact you can apply it all over the world. WHAT Happened in ex Yogoslavia, What is Happening in Palistine? All these WARS have same basement. NOBODY, NO Country is ready to give its territory and NO one want to see its country fallen apart. Even these westerners some call themselves, democrate, humenity lover and so on and on, WILL NEVER TOLERATE any such upprising in there own countries and will DO probably Much worse things then what we are talking about. SEE their HISTORY also. British went to war against Argentina due to Falkland island which belong to Argentina. SEE around the world, then you may UNDERSTAND that tragedy of 1971 has itself a history behind it, which NO BODY justify. As far as I know, there are always discussions on that tragedy in Pakistan, and there is NOBODY who is denying that people been killed- in a civil war. Now mosf them who were responsible are DEAD. WE MAY NEVER KNOW THE TRUTH. I recomended to let is go to REST and see in front. You can see that people at this forum seems to be tired of this topic, but its only you few who come again and again with same thing, WHY? WHY? and WHY?
You have not told me WHAT IS your WIN in it?
It is wasting of Energy and Time at wrong direction. As a Ummah we have FUTURE in front of us and that need ATTENTION.Because NOW WE ALL ARE IN DANGER.

that's not 200million+

and contrary to what you may believe the majority of Pakistanis do not come to Bangladesh.com, same for Bangalis!

I don't mind any more that you hate Pakistanis (as you will never do anything other than post on b.com) and I'm sure you don't mind that I get on well with them.

I doubt I will ever change the mindset of Bangalis such as yourself, bang ali and others ! But I wonder what your aims of these posts are?

anyway, try to keep discussions related to the topics and not personal (eg shia references etc); it makes you look sensible when u keep it clean.

NO. Lemme guess...another paki-loving, self-hater.
Salam

Now then, now then...

Was I right, though?

Funnily enough the only person I know that loves a Pakistani, is a moderator on this board, I believe the woman he loved was also married. He created a new user-name to pour his heart out to the world wide web, but forgot to hide his IP address, what a zany thing to do.

Khilari, is there a theory in Psychiatry that makes the subject hate in others that which he recognises and dislikes about himself? A kind of denial-type of thing?

Anyways, I'll let you guys carry on this fascinating discussion - sorry to interrupt.

Was'salam.

Salaam

Soz start psych on Monday insha'allaah so I couldn't possible answer! However in about 3 weeks maybe I'll know more psych

Hac, I don't think we understand where the personal animosity comes from in Bangalis like br Bang_ali (who I believe are probably decent nice people!)

And ultimately they cannot understand how Bangalis can feel 'love' towards a Pakistani simply because s/he is Muslim.

And thankfully this forum is merely a social interaction with no tangible implications to the 'real world'.

In the same way that neither you nor myself nor Star etc have huge influences over Bangalis with the above attitude, they have no effect over Bangalis with our attitude.

Unless of course they are raising an army to attack Pakistan... the way 'Tyler Durden' did in Fight Club.

However I doubt any of them are as good looking or charasmatic as Brad Pitt/his character, so we are safe (for now of course).

Discussions like this are ultimately pointless by this stage, despite starting off fairly intelligently, they degenerate into personal nit-picking (I am guilty of course) and unconvincing mincing of words!!!

I think it is best to leave certain people be as they would not be happy in any other way.

Bye
