Red face

i heard a while back, that those who do not say the kalima prayer and believe it are all condemned to end up in hell

or will they be judged on what they have done in there life, like say a person has done only good things in there life, but there not technically a muslim, but they have the traits that a muslim should have...will they still go to hell?

As far as I know and understand the question, only Muslims will go to Jannah- and even then it will happen due to the Mercy of our Creator.

As Muslims we believe in Allah as the only God to be worshipped and our beloved prophet (PBUH) to be the seal of the prophethood. This is the first step towards the path of guidance. When you have acknowledged this fact you must start to practise what you believe in, ie. the rest of the 4 pillars along with following the commands in the Quran and our prophet's (PBUH) Sunnah.

People we consider to be "good" but non- Muslims will get the reward of their good deeds and actions in this world. A good deed never goes unrewarded in the eyes of our Lord.

Even our prophet's (PBUH) uncle who was a support and great help to him (PBUH) during his struggle, died without saying the Shahada and will be given the mildest punishment in the Hereafter.
(I think it is the wearing of hot iron shoes...if this is wrong pls correct me)

please read the Quran so you can get the answer for yourself

salam,

God (swt) with his limitless Mercy is going to send them to haven - who have done good deeds and served humanity and kind to kinfolks and just towards His creation in his daily living. No where in the Quran does it say that only the Muslims are going to go to Haven.

only the christians claim such lunacy. Muslim faith does not allow for such discrimenation. Allah (swt) says clearly in the Quran that this knowledge is not given to man. It is His descretion only.

Even an athiest, an idol worshipper can attain the Haven if he can please God or does things that gives God pleasure. Again it is not wise to put limit to God's Mercy just as we some time clearly don't hesitate to potray Him as the most ruthless punisher. Do you not know that God said that my Mercy and my love always wins over my desire to punish. So Haven is for non muslims too.

Wassalam
