Can somebody answer the question at the BOTTOM?

In 1611 A.D. King James of England ordered the Holy Scriptures of the Christians to be translated from the ORIGINAL HEBREW (of O.T.) and Original GREEK (of the N.T.) to the common languge of the people in England.

Hebrew and Greek scholars got together and translated the Bible into English. They named it the "King James AUTHORIZED VERSION,"

Of course they used the OLD ENGLISH of the period with a lot of words we would not recognize today as English.
Nevertheless IT WAS ENGLISH.

As time went by, that translation was REVISED many times in order to CONFORM to the ENGLISH LANGUGE of the day.

Thus we have the NEW KING JAMES VERSION today in todays spoken English. Any grade 6 student should be able to read it and understand it.
(IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE ALMIGHTY GOD OF THE BIBLE WANTS EVERY HUMAN BEING TO READ AND UNDERSTAND HIS WORD, and therefore made HIS WORD available in every languge of the world so that NOBODY CAN SAY: "I did not have the opportunity to know JEHOVAH)."

The QUESTION:
Do you as a MUSLIM believe that the ORIGINAL King James Bible of 1611 A.D. is IDENTICAL IN ITS THEOLOGY to the NEW KING JAMES BIBLE, both in the OT and the NT?

My Response:

I have asked them and I have received the answers.

My DIALOGUE on this Board is not with Christian Scholars; It is with MUSLIM Scholars!

Please let a few Muslim Scholars answer my straight forward questions.

Actually you **do not** have to be any kind of scholar to answer very simple questions.

If you are not able to answer, please say so.

I will provide a LOGICAL, and REASONED answer.

Then we can pick up from there and proceed.

OBVIOUSLY it would be very FOOLISH to EXPECT the WORDS of the NEW KJV Bible to be the same as the words of the 1611 Bible.
.

(There is hardly anybody living today [except Bible Scholars] who could pick up a 1611 KJV Bible and read it and understand it, EVEN THOUGH both are in the ENGLISH Languge !).

Hey, Mr Andy, if you want a debate with Muslims, then go to http://www.clearguidance.com, that's if you have the guts, because the people there are quite clever. I'm not saying that the people here aren't clever, but the reason i mentioned clearguidance.com, they have a special section devoted to non-muslims.

If what your doing is dialogue, then I'd hate to see you in a discussion!

The way I see it is you surface time to time to post material relying on word-play (dialogue and discussion lol)and slanted interpretation which you usually take out of context anyway.

When a brother replies you turn stone deaf and merely post something on another angle or subject.

I'm all for inter-religious debate but you take the biscuit.

I have no opinion on the many different versions of the Bible. Other than the fact that it is incomplete and that the ONE AND ONLY Holy Al-Qur'an is the supreme source of guidance avauilable to mortal man.

Dear Andy Please don't leave. Every board needs a gaddah.
