We have all heard of the term 'Shunar Bangla', it is the second and third word in the banga national anthem.
The reason I am beginning this topic is that I know that when people visit Bnagladesh or any country for that matter, they have different and varied expereinces, some that they want to treasure and share with friends and families and others that they dont want to discuss. I have heard that a lot of people moan that there is no 'Shuna' in the Shunar bngla, instead it is full of crime and corruption. I want your thoughts and views on your experiences of bangladesh. What do you like about bangladesh? What do you hate/dislike about Bangladesh? I am inviting everyone to comment as this will provide an insight for thoses people who probably haven't visited Bangladesh and dont know much about the country. I will try and write my experiences later. Regards Ahad |

Sorry this word does not appear in the English Dictionary and neither does your version of the spelling. Anyway, lets have your answers to the two questions. Ahad |

The first time and the last time i visited Bangladesh was over a decade ago. I didn't get to see much of the country. Next time i go (hopefully soon, if all goes to plan), i hope to visit different parts of the country, it's a beautiful country.
My first experience of bangladesh is one i wouldn't wish for anyone, it really upsets me when i look back at that time. I can't go into detail because it might offend some people here. All i'll say is that anyone who visits with their families, please look out for your little sisters. |
