Hey people I’d just like to explain to you what’s happened over this Ameena-rima-rupali thing. I’m warning you this is gonna be boring but keep on reading as it will become clear in the end and hopefully we will have a happy ending!! I’ve written lots of posts at different places and I think we’re all unsure of what’s happening around us and we’re having a go at the wrong people. So I’ll give you an account of the story as I know it:

On Friday Ameena decided to advertise Rima’s number on the site saying she was a friend of Rima’s and rima needed a few blokes to show her a good time! She is not a friend of Rim’s and as I said earlier she was either trying to stir things up or giving us a taster of her exceedingly good sense of humour!

She also made a very insulting comment about Rima’s dad. She decided to delete the topic probably because the response wasn’t very favourable towards her. So Ameena takes the weekend to think about her next plan and today she posted a new topic which simply had the number and stated both mine and Rimas name! As you can imagine I was furious as I had nothing to do with the whole phone number thing. When Ameena joined the site I welcomed her along with the rest (go back and read Shakeela’s “hi” ) and thought we could be friends but hey obviously not. I didn’t expect a “thanks Rup, we’ll be mates!” but I definitely didn’t expect to be called a “slag”!!

So from what Ameena has tried to explain (though she hasn’t directly answered or spoken to me,I’d rather she did) she only flashed Rima’s number on there because she wanted to prove a point about “freedom of speech” being in the “wrong hands”. Personally I couldn’t see the link between freedom of speech and us being called “slags” !!Apparently I’m a “young girlie” (which is true and most of you know that I’m only 16) but she’s the one who’s literally begging dirty perverts to ring Rima up and harass her. Now I might be too young to understand but does anyone mind explaining how that is adult behaviour???

TO AMEENA:
I’ve written to you in various places and can’t really be bothered to go over it again. Basically all I want to say to you is honey you might be studying at East London Uni which makes you older than me and Rim. As I said earlier you may be older when you count the years but when it comes to maturity we’ll beat you by miles.

You took a costly route to prove your point (not that it does of course). I don’t think you realise that phone numbers are private information and shouldn’t be disclosed without permission. There’s a bloke on the open board saying he’ll pass her number on to restaurant waiters and porters…come on does Rima really deserve that??!!

You get people with all different personalities on this earth, if we were all perfect life would be boring. Rima might sound a little hyper to you but hey some people( although I disagree with it) tend to exaggerate their personality when they’re on the web!! Now that doesn’t mean they’re fake as a person, if that’s the way they want to have fun then so be it. All I did was stick up for a friend, if it was you in rima’s shoes you would have needed all the support you could get, believe me!

You don’t know me so don’t call me a slag I’m far from it! Me and Rima might sound like Siamese twins but believe me there are a lot of positive differences!! Anyone who has got to know me will know that, especially farhana and khadija.

Re-read the above and I think you’ll agree with me it all sounds pathetic! We’re behaving like primary school kids who aren’t getting it their own way!! I’m known to be very very determined and stubborn so if I could break the ice so can you!!

Just drop the ego sweetheart ~~~~> I’m not asking to be friends all I’m asking for is to have that peace back into this little society and hey lets try and be civilised at least.

Listen honey, we all know that British Bengali girls have a bad reputation (remember what that Sayedi person said last year??) now I’m not saying we can rectify that stereotypical image but I do know we can stop adding to it!!

I know I’ve probably said a few things to you Ameena that I shouldn’t have in which case I’m sorry!! Do you blame me? lol

Anyway its been one hell of a day, I’ve been called a “slag”, been told I’m “ugly as pigs” and uhh…also that my English is totally c***….that was kinda like the icing on the cake!!

Good thing I’ve learnt not to let things get to me eh? Anyway its nearly 1 o’ clock ….couldn’t go to sleep without sorting it out…….. I should be in bed got a hockey tournament tomorrow which means I’m at training at 6.30!!! Shame you haven’t got my number ….could’ve woke me up huh? lol

Take care of yourselves for me, sweep dreams, wrap up nice and warm
Loadsa love

Hiya never guess what i missed my training session this morning!! I woke up at 7.45 by the time i had my shower and got out of the house it was 8.30!! i'm sitting here writing this and my hair's still dripping wet, my stomach's rumbling ( miss my coco pops !!) and to top it all off my coach is gonna yell into my ears until they burn!! Oh well anything for peace!!

Ameena i'm really glad that you actually listened to what i had to say. To be honest i don;'t think i could've taken any more of it!! I seem like a nice person??? Thanks, bit of a promotion don't you think ??? lol. Hmm....... I'd say i'm not too bad, you'll find out soon enough!!

Hope the rest of you had a good nights sleep although i only had 5 hours!!
Take care, loadsa love
