how can i help him

this is email i got from a net friend of mine, we have talked on da phone tho, n for last 4 months he has been going through a tough time

i really wanan help him out.. but i dont knwo how , never had dat kidna thoughts..
assumign some of u guzy might have had this,, been throuhg it.. wat can i say or do :S

this is part of it the email... i honestly can't tell u wat he is goign through, cuz i dont konw..he wont talk , answer mails, or pick up phones :S

sound slike the dude is in a bout of self loathing, if you do get thru to him juss tell him that you rekon hes a decent geeza and leave him to work himslef thru his ish.

It happens to a lot of peeps, they jus sudenly realise that things are a bit fuk'd up and they cave in on themsleves. But they will get over it. Its a 'Phase' thing.

dats wat i told him its a phase thing.. but its been almost 6 month dats too long
i mean i have those moments 2 but its like a day thing , da next day i am fine.. da longest is couple of weeks..

also i am not da type of person who can stand back n watch somone suffer.. i relly wanan get through 2 him..let him know he is b eing an idiot.. (i told him dat ,, but it didn't work.. ) all i got was. "tui kichu bozos na" :S

so how, wat can i say ..2 get throu 2 him
or have any of u experienced it

well maybe its a good thing then,

when you do manage to speak to him tell him that he is right, tell him that he has mashed things up for himself in the past.

then point out all the good things around him, show him that he still has peeps that care for him despite the many fukups.

and tell him that its good he's finaly realised what a mess hes made of himself and that he now needs to start dragging himslef up.

as bangalis we hold our famillies as the most dear thing to us, however a man who can stand on his own and look after himslef without indulging in curopt behavior is well respected also.

tell him that now that he has found his faults he needs to start working to make himslef better, even if it means going lower in the eyes of his loved ones b4 he again achieve their respect.

Although I don't know what this guy has gone through, these words sound like those of a person ready to commit suicide. If you can't get in touch with him then there may be nothing you can do at all.

He's on his own and it's totally upto him if he want's to carry on with anything.
