for guys the hijab has juss become another obstacle, and not a particularly difficult one, to get round in order to hook up with a girl.

ofcourse it not all guys, but a lot of the intergender mixing that goes on between girls and their 'brothers in islam' is juss your average guy girl flirting but behind the shield of a purda

are the hijabi girls amongst you aware of this, i mean a guy could be using the words assalamu alikum, instead of some cheap chat up line but it could still be the same thing. do anyof you find that the hijab has lost some of its protective qualities?

It's NOT the attractive, head-turner girl who wud prefer a hijab. It's the average, not-so or not-at-all attractive or an ugly Jane who wud prefer a hijab. Hijab ordinarily evokes in men a kind of fantasy notion that the girld behind the hijab cud be an `Anarkoli' !!!

Under the circumstance, what happens when the hijab is taken off is matter for speculation and is better left to the two concerned parties !

As it were, hijab contributes to the men's world of romantic fantasy! Let the hijab come in many shades n colours - including designer hijab - than regulation black! Long Live Hijab !!!

hey....wht the hell does tht soppose to mean....im not a hijabi but i have alot of hijabi friends n they mad fyn....its jus tht guys get intimated by the hijab cuz dey think the girls would b too much of a prude or religious..those guys r called fast or a playa in america...but those girls r the same as the rest but they understand the value of covering themselves whn i get tht i will do the same ..it depends on wht u learn ....well some do ...some jus does it too b a goody good on the outsid n the devil herself in the inside...lol...but those r rare...or parents force them and tht is a sin cause its soppose to come naturally...but Burns is right girls r getting more attention by guys even though the hijab is soppse to revoke them....but look at it this way guys r becoming more use to hijabis n giving them chances like the rest of us non-hijabis...in some aspect thts good because even today no trashy sorta guy would go up to a hijabi......but in othr ways its not good..but tht totally depends on the person...so its their choice...

At least I don't object to a girl's choice for hijab; I opine that a girl has a right to her choice of dress code / the sartorial style!
However, hijab does give rise to speculation thus: whether the hijabi-gal is carrying a bomb or a bomb-shell hereself ... hahahahahahaha .....hahahahaha !!!!

i tell you why i ask,

its cos this girl at work who does wear a hijab goes to me that assalmualikum has become the new joey style 'how you doin'

ie guys have clocked onto the fact that hijabi girls, even religious ones, are still aproachable and receptive to all kinds of behaviour jus aslong as you find the right angle of apraoch innit.

If blokes are indeed approaching hijaabis and trying to win them over with an Islamic greeting or trying to chat them up by *discussing* Islam realted topics, it just shows how desperate blokes have become.

I fear for you guys.

its not a sign of desperation,

i mean a hijabi girl is most likly to be the kind of girl your mom likes.
