Assallamalaikum,

finally, has come a time where i have decided i should make a stand and join the struggle, yes brothers and sisters i am walkin the path of martyrdom..

I heard that jihad is not just holy war, but its when a muslim takes a stand against something wrong, or resists a temptation... so further to my successful fatwa (?) to myself against smoking ciggies... i have declared to my mum that after eid i am giving up her wonderful tasting but fatty food.

yes i am declaring jihad against my crappy diet. well planning to anyway

...good move? well ive got till eid to weigh up my options...time starts now! tick tock tick tock..

ahh but its also criticle to your faith that you alwys think of your mothers happiness. surley giving up her food will cause her distress?

i think you should consult with a scholor in this matter

jihad has always been fraught with difficulties, hence its a jihad.
