When asians (and esp.) Bengalis become "modarn" or supposedly educated they always seem to lose their "brownesss" (language/religion/culture). Whether this comes about accidentally or if its on purpose and as a result of self-hate I'm not sure.

What is the point of learning one thing while forgetting something else?
